The acclaimed American Chamber Ensemble, celebrating its 59th Anniversary, has announced its Gala Music Party and 2024-2025 concert season. Dates are:

The program of informal music-making will preview the upcoming season, and will include pianist and ACE Director Marilyn Lehman, along with violinist Deborah Wong, cellist Chris Finckel, clarinetist and Assistant ACE Director Mindy Dragovich and the ACE Clarinet Quartet.

The Music Department of Hofstra University presents ACE performing Lineage and Legacy at Helene Fortunoff Theater in Monroe Lecture Center on California Avenue in Hempstead, NY.

ACE will present music for various combinations of piano, clarinet and strings. Composers represented will be American composers Nancy Bloomer Deussen and Vittorio Giannini, along with Gabriel Faure, Camille Saint Saens, Clara Schumann, Gustav Holst, Alfred Reed and Charles Villiers Stanford.

Performers will include pianist and ACE Director Marilyn Lehman, along with violinists Eriko Sato and Deborah Wong, violist Lois Martin, cellist Chris Finckel, clarinetist and Assistant ACE Director Mindy Dragovich and the ACE Clarinet Choir. Special guest will be mezzo soprano Tammy Hensrud.

The Music Department of Hofstra University again presents ACE performing Multicultural Landscape at the Fortunoff Theater in Monroe Lecture Center on California Ave. in Hempstead.

The program will include music for various combinations of piano, clarinet and strings. Composers represented will be Aram Khatchaturian, Zoltan Kodaly, Gerald Finzi, Prokofiev and contemporary composer Andres Maldonado.

Performers will include pianist and ACE Director Marilyn Lehman, along with violinists Eriko Sato and Deborah Wong, violist Lois Martin, cellist Chris Finckel, and clarinetist and Assistant ACE Director Mindy Dragovich. Pianist Adrienne Borbely will join Marilyn Lehman for a performance of a two-piano work by Darius Milhaud.
